Is there a good Human Resource website with information about the staffing systems at Lockheed Martin

Is there a good Human Resource website with information about the staffing systems at Lockheed Martin?
I am to do a presentation in my HR class about Lockheed Martin and my material to cover is the staffing systems. I found some information at their website, but it was limited of course. I'm looking for information such as how they hire (potential vs achievement), disciplinary systems, and firing employees. Any website with some good material would be appreciated!

If you want to go the MBA route, you should work for 2-4 years first. If you want to OD route, I would go straight through to graduate school, but choose carefully. You might also want to work for a few years while you decide. What were your favorite courses in undergraduate? Do you want the benefits/compensation route, or the OD/training/internal consultant route? Or something else like labor relations? And what industries would interest you? Those all go into your thinking.

Unfortunately, the human resource field has got away from looking for "peoples persons" and most of the larger employers are looking for employees with degrees such as bachelor of business administration. I don't know how a piece of parchment on the wall makes you a good Human Resource person but that's the way it seems to be now, unfortunately.

Hi, I fell into HR and I have been doing it for 10 years since. You can start off by getting certified as a professional. The classes are not too expensive. Join professinal HR sites like SHRM. Villanova gives an online course that prepares you for the certification exam as well. You can also now get an Associates or Bachelors in business with a concentration in Human Resources. A degreeis not neccessary when you start, but you can not make it to a director level without one. You should start appling for administrative positions in HR and you can work your way up from there. Good luck!
