generally a psychology undergraduate degree/ business degree is a good major for this for entry level. there is a association for Human resource professionals training certification that is nice to have as well. i believe it is achieved web based / has network / forum / job info. in a smaller company you may be able to enter without degree and get some experience . jump to larger company. it's good to have degree though. you come in and they begin to pay for your MBA as you work. Once you are in generalist HR .. you will see more speciality areas of that branch out. recruiting/ staffing / training / talent rentetion . leadership development / compensation / benefits/ etc. etc. etc. Each have VP's, directors and mangement teams.
